Osso Good Roasted Pork Paleo Lettuce Wraps

  • 3-4 pounds pastured pork shoulder
  • 2 pouches Osso Good Spicy Pork Bone Broth (use chicken for a milder spice)
  • 1/4 c coconut aminos
  • juice of 1 large orange
  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • lettuce (I used romaine but you could also use green leaf, kale, or butter lettuce)
  • pico de gallo

Directions

  1. Season the pork with salt and pepper.  Add the pork to the bowl of a crockpot.
  2. Pour in the Osso Good Spicy Pork Bone Broth
  3. Add coconut aminos, orange juice, cumin, and paprika.  Cook over high heat for 6 hours, or until tender enough to shred with 2 forks.
  4. Add shredded pork to rinsed lettuce leaves and top with pico de gallo.

Hopefully these last longer than the minute it takes to devour them.  They’re great!  Of course, you can always substitute corn tortillas for the lettuce if you prefer.  I also like adding guacamole or freshly sliced avocado to top them off.  The variations are endless.  And these are sure to please any crowd!  Enjoy! 🙂
